Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement applies to this website. At Karelia University of Applied Sciences, we strive to ensure that our digital services work in accordance with the Accessibility Directive and are constantly working to improve accessibility.

This Accessibility Statement has been published/updated on 22.03.2022. It is currently based on a self-assessment.

The website www.shapingethicaltourism.eu will be launched in April 2022. The website contains training materials produced by completed projects. Making some of the content available retrospectively would impose an unreasonable burden on the site operator.

The main shortcomings of the site are

– in files (e.g. PowerPoint files), some of which do not meet accessibility requirements
– training materials may contain videos published before 23 September 2020, so videos may lack subtitles. It is not possible for the administrator of this website to add subtitles to video recordings.

In addition, there may also be shortcomings in the clarity of the content structure and the comprehensibility of the texts.
